We want to love God by inspiring kids to grow in a relationship with Him. We will intentionally grow together with children in small groups and help parents connect with their kids through a shared walk toward and into a relationship with Christ Jesus. Our desire is to teach kids to be whole-hearted followers of Christ.

Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light so shine before men that they may see your
good works and glorify your Father in Heaven."

  We in KOTM know how hard it is to leave your infant with strangers, even if it is only for an hour. That is why we want to develop a relationship with you and your precious child. We will ensure that your baby is safe and feels secure while he or she is visiting. Whether they want to play or just cuddle, your babies will be cared for by nurturing volunteers who welcome and love the little children just as Jesus did. 

Our infants who have mastered their first steps and whose parents feel confident in their ability to interact with their peers will move up from the infant's room to join us in the Walker's room. In Walkers, toddlers have fun learning that Jesus loves them through age-appropriate activities with volunteers who love them. They also learn important beginning social skills such as sharing and playing nice with other children their age. In this way, children are prepared every week to eventually move into our preschool classroom where even more peer and teacher-child interactions will happen.

Seedlings is a room dedicated to our 3 year olds. Our vision to lay the cornerstone by creatively sharing simple truths so they can solidly build their house upon the rock. We believe relationships are critical so we spend the first 30 minutes or so playing and interacting with each other. This is a great time for our caring volunteers to model what friendship and caring for each other looks like. From there we transition to a large group. During this time children enjoy a Bible story, dance, sing and learn our "Special Words." Special Words allow the children to hide God's word in their heart. As our time together winds down, we transition to small groups. Here, we review the story and typically play a game that reinforces the lesson. After that and during our snack and coloring time, the loving volunteers talk with the children about ways the story relates to the kids' lives and how they can implant what God is calling them to do. 

This class is filled with fun and creatively structured learning. The awesome volunteers engage the kids from the instant they arrive with hands-on activities, creative teaching, dramas, and interactive worship. The curriculum we use teaches key scriptural truths and lays the spiritual foundation a child needs in order to enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's fun. It's energetic. And it's filled with love. Your child won't want to miss a single week!

Every week in our 1st-4th grade classroom we strive to create a warm, safe and fun learning environment where your child feels welcome and right at home.  Your kids will encounter, learn and experience God through worship, large group teaching and small group connections during our weekend services.
